Oddly enough I class TV and friends together. For my friends, please don't take offense. You'll see why in a bit...
See. This is the problem. I'm tired as HELL with a nearly 3 month old child waking up every 4 hours, a 2 year old, a 3 year old, and a husband. The husband doesn't really add on to the fatigue, although during the weekends he doesn't assist as much as I would like, but he works in the evening and weekends, so he stays home with these 3 little munchkins (God Bless him!) with apprx 3 hours of sleep, so I can't really be mad. In fact, I'm greatful. Without him sacrificing his sleep (and sanity), we would be shelling out $300+ a week for day care.
So I'm tired. Especially because at work it's budget season so not only am I working through my lunch (a norm in my life), but I tend to work in the evenings while the kiddos sleep. But I've become somewhat of a TV watcher. Something I've never been until I had kids! I used to not be able to watch tv for multiple hours, but now? I'm hooked on EVERYTHING! So sad, but reality tv? Sheesh. DVR and OnDemand are my best friends on Friday and Saturday nights. Trying to stay up 'till 2am just to catch up on the week's ratchetness. I swear, the majority of reality tv seriously kills more brain cells than smoking weed... lol.

| The Empire Girls - Julissa & Adrienne with Layla & Ashley |
I've added tv on to my juggling act... Just finished watching
The Empire Girls and debating if I should try to watch another show. I need to catch up on
Tia & Tamera as well. The reason I'm interested in
The Empire Girls is because Julissa and Adrienne remind me of me and my friends, especially during our college years.I think they're freakin' hilarious and oh so fly with their sense of individual style! And I love how they are really living it up! They
REALLY make me miss my girls...
(Texting friends for a Girls Night, ASAP!)

| Tamera, Tia & son Cree |
However, on the contrary,
Tia & Tamera reminds me of my life now. Tia with her son and Tamera just recently being married. I can completely relate to Tia and her journey of being a new mom (although I'm a mother of 3, I'm still only 3 years in of being a mother). For example, going out. Having the urge to go out and get away, but then, feel guilty that you are out and not at home with your babies! I thought I was the ONLY one who felt like this but was SO RELIEVED that I wasn't!!! It's real tough being the only mother out of all of your friends. You miss going out with your friends and seeing them, but you never want to leave your kids. So again... How do you
JUGGLE your family with your friends?! There's only but so many nights your friends would want to come over while your kids are running around and yelling while you and your friends are trying to have a grown-up conversation with a glass of wine but have to baby-sit your glass b/c if you don't, the toddler terrors would come and try to sip it
(which may not be such a bad thing.. It may put them out for the night... lol). There has to be a way to accomplish this without feeling guilty!!!!
We'll talk about the ratchet tv another time... Most likely tomorrow night when I try to catch up on it... As long as I don't pass out before 9.
